DESCRIPTION This DTC is stored when the vehicle stability control system has a problem. Check the vehicle stability control system when DTC P1578 is stored.

PROCEDURE
(a) Check for DTCs. Click here OK: Vehicle stability control system DTCs are not output.
(a) Clear the DTCs. Click here (b) Perform the following to make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met. HINT: If the detection conditions are not met, the malfunction cannot be detected.
(c) Check for DTCs. Click here OK: DTC P1578 is not output.
(a) Replace the ECM. for 1UR-FE: Click here for 3UR-FE: Click here
(a) Clear the DTCs. Click here (b) Perform the following to make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met. HINT: If the detection conditions are not met, the malfunction cannot be detected.
(c) Check for DTCs. Click here OK: DTC P1578 is not output.
