PROCEDURE
(a) Interview the customer to confirm the problem. HINT: It is important to collect as much specific information as possible from the customer to allow for a quick repair.
(a) Set the pressure of each tire to the specified value. NOTICE: Refer to the link as the procedure for adjusting the tire pressures differs depending on the temperature of the tires. Click here (b) Turn the ignition switch to ON and let the vehicle idle for 2 to 3 minutes. HINT: For this vehicle, it may take longer than usual to receive data from the tire pressure warning valve and transmitter while the Data List is displayed. Therefore, before displaying the Data List, wait 2 to 3 minutes to receive data from the tire pressure warning valve and transmitter. (c) Turn the ignition switch off. (d) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. (e) Turn the ignition switch to ON. (f) Enter the following menus: Chassis / Tire Pressure Monitor / Data List. (g) Display "ID Tire Inflation Pressure" in the Data List and check that the tire pressure values match the adjusted pressure amount. HINT: It may take a few minutes until the values are displayed. (h) Perform initialization. Click here HINT: The tire pressure warning system illuminates the tire pressure warning light to warn the driver when any of the following condition is met:
