PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

HINT:

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

(a) w/ Mirror Heater:

Connect the 2 connectors.

(b) w/ Retract Mirror:

Connect the 3 connectors.

(c) w/ Blind Spot Monitor:

Connect the 3 connectors.

(d) Attach the 4 claws to install the outer rear view mirror sub-assembly LH.

NOTICE:

Push the mirror downward until a "snap" sound is heard.

HINT:

  • Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
  • The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Push the upper part of the mirror surface and tilt it.

(b) Using moulding remover D, push the bottom of the outer rear view mirror sub-assembly LH upwards as shown in the illustration. Slide the outer rear view mirror sub-assembly LH upwards to detach the 4 claws, and then remove the outer rear view mirror sub-assembly LH.

HINT:

Apply protective tape to the outer rear view mirror assembly LH to prevent it from being damaged.

(c) w/ Mirror Heater:

Disconnect the 2 connectors and remove the outer rear view mirror sub-assembly LH.

(d) w/ Retract Mirror:

Disconnect the 3 connectors and remove the outer rear view mirror sub-assembly LH.

(e) w/ Blind Spot Monitor:

Using a screwdriver, disconnect the 3 connectors and remove the outer rear view mirror sub-assembly LH.
