INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT INTERIOR ROOM LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Check the resistance.

(1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

Tester Connection

Switch Condition

Specified Condition

6 (FCTY) - 11 (FLMP)

Interior room light switch DOOR

Below 1 Ω

11 (FLMP) - 8 (E)

Interior room light switch ON

Below 1 Ω

If the result is not as specified, replace the interior room light switch assembly.

(b) Check the illumination.

(1) Apply battery voltage to the connector and check the illumination condition.

OK:

Measurement Condition

Specified Condition

Battery positive (+) → Terminal 1 (ILL+)

Battery negative (-) → Terminal 4 (ILL-)

Illuminates

If the result is not as specified, replace the interior room light switch assembly.
