DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE FUEL SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY

2. REMOVE SUB TANK

(a) Disconnect the fuel pump connector.

(b) Using a small screwdriver, detach the claw on the end of the tube from the claw hole. Disconnect the tube from the 2 clamps.

(c) Disconnect the fuel tube.

(d) Using a screwdriver, detach the 3 claws from the claw holes.

HINT:

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

(e) Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws from the claw holes and remove the sub tank.

HINT:

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

NOTICE:

Do not damage the fuel sub tank.

3. REMOVE FUEL PUMP

(a) Using a screwdriver, detach the 5 claws from the claw holes and disconnect the fuel pump from the suction plate with filter.

HINT:

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

(b) Remove the fuel pump harness.

(c) Remove the O-ring and spacer from the fuel pump.
