CUSTOMIZE PARAMETERS

CUSTOMIZE LIGHTING SYSTEM

NOTICE:

  • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.
  • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.
  • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.

HINT:

The following items can be customized.

(a) Customizing with the Techstream

(1) Turn the ignition switch off.

(2) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(3) Turn the ignition switch to ON.

(4) Turn the Techstream on.

(5) Enter the following menus: Utility / Customize / Light Control, Illuminated Entry or Waring.

(6) Select the setting by referring to the table below.

Light Auto OFF Delay

Keep the headlights on for a certain period of time after turning the ignition switch off and closing all doors with the low beam headlights on.

Adjusts the sensitivity of the automatic light control system.*C

The sensitivity adjustment may be difficult to confirm. Check by driving the vehicle.

Lights up footwell lights when doors are unlocked using a mechanical key or door control switch of a door.

Changes the lighting time of the footwell lights.

15 s, 7.5 s, 30 s or 0 s

Lighting Time

Changes the lighting time of the following lights that are operated by the timer function when the DOOR switch of the interior dome light switch assembly, roof console box assembly (front interior light) and No. 1 room light assembly (rear interior light) is on:

  • Roof console box assembly (front interior light)
  • No. 1 room light assembly (rear interior light)
  • Foot light bulb*2
  • Transponder key coil*3

30 s, 15 s or 7.5 s

I/L when ACC OFF

ON

Turns off the following lights automatically when the DOOR switch of the interior dome light switch assembly, roof console box assembly (front interior light) and No. 1 room light assembly (rear interior light) is on and the ignition switch is turned from ON or ACC to off:

  • Roof console box assembly (front interior light)
  • No. 1 room light assembly (rear interior light)
  • Foot light bulb*2
  • Transponder key coil*3

OFF or ON

I/L ON W/Door Key Unlock

ON

Turns on the following lights automatically when the DOOR switch of the interior dome light switch assembly, roof console box assembly (front interior light) and No. 1 room light assembly (rear interior light) is on and the doors are unlocked by an unlock operation (key-linked or wireless):

  • Roof console box assembly (front interior light)
  • No. 1 room light assembly (rear interior light)
  • Foot light bulb*2
  • Transponder key coil*3

OFF or ON

Main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU)

Interior Light Control

ON

Turns on the following lights:

  • Roof console box assembly (front interior light)
  • No. 1 room light assembly (rear interior light)
  • Foot light bulb*2
  • Transponder key coil*3

OFF or ON
