DESCRIPTION When ID registration is being performed via the automatic ID registration function of the tire pressure warning valve and transmitters, the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver outputs C2128/28 and the tire pressure warning light flashes for 1 minute. Afterward, the tire pressure warning light remains illuminated. When the tire pressure warning valve and transmitters receive the data from all tire pressure warning valve and transmitters with registered IDs, the tire pressure is judged to be normal and the tire pressure warning light turns off.
PROCEDURE
(a) Turn the ignition switch to ON. (b) Check if the vehicle stability control system DTC is output. Click here HINT: If DTC C2128/28 is output, vehicle stability control system DTCs may also have been detected. Check the vehicle stability control system first and after repairs have been completed, perform ID registration via the automatic ID registration function.
