DESCRIPTION

This circuit detects the ignition switch ACC or off condition, and sends it to the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU).

(a) Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

(a) Disconnect the driver side junction block assembly connectors.

(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:

3G-1 - Body ground

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

CHECK DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the driver side junction block assembly.

(b) Remove the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) from the driver side junction block assembly.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

Tester Connection

Specified Condition

3G-1 - A-30 (ACC)

Battery not connected to 3J-30 and 3I-3

10 kΩ or higher

Battery positive (+) → 3J-30

Battery negative (-) → 3I-3

Below 1 Ω
OK

REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)

REPLACE DRIVER SIDE JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY

    Lighting System
