DESCRIPTION

If the rear RH side manual UP/DOWN function does not operate, there may be a malfunction in the rear switch RH, the rear motor RH, the master switch, or the harness or connector.

NOTICE:

Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE

1.	CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR SWITCH RH - BATTERY)

(a) Disconnect the switch connector.

*a	Front view of wire harness connector (to Rear Switch RH)

(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:

Tester Connection	Switch Condition	Specified Condition
O5-3 (B) - Body ground	Ignition switch ON	11 to 14 V

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

2.	INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Remove the rear power window regulator switch assembly RH (See page ).

(b) Inspect the rear power window regulator switch assembly RH (See page ).

REPLACE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY RH

3.	CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR SWITCH RH - REAR MOTOR RH)

(a) Disconnect the O5 switch connector.

(b) Disconnect the O3 motor connector.

Standard Resistance:

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
O5-1 (D) - O3-1	Always	Below 1 Ω
O5-4 (U) - O3-2	Always	Below 1 Ω
O5-1 (D) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
O5-4 (U) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

4.	INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Remove the rear power window regulator motor assembly RH (See page ).

(b) Inspect the rear power window regulator motor assembly RH (See page ).

REPLACE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH

5.	CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MASTER SWITCH - REAR SWITCH RH)

(a) Disconnect the N2 master switch connector.

(b) Disconnect the O5 switch connector.

Standard Resistance:

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
N2-10 (U) - O5-5 (SU)	Always	Below 1 Ω
N2-16 (D) - O5-2 (SD)	Always	Below 1 Ω
N2-10 (U) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
N2-16 (D) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

REPLACE POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MASTER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

Rear Power Window LH does not Operate with Rear Power Window Switch LH

Remote Up / Down Function does not Operate
