DESCRIPTION

  • If the rear RH side manual UP/DOWN function does not operate, there may be a malfunction in the rear switch RH, the rear motor RH, the master switch, or the harness or connector.

NOTICE:

Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following inspection procedure.

PROCEDURE

1.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR SWITCH RH - BATTERY)

(a) Disconnect the switch connector.

(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:

Tester Connection

Switch Condition

Specified Condition

O5-3 (B) - Body ground

Ignition switch ON

11 to 14 V

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK

INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Remove the rear power window regulator switch assembly RH (See page ).

(b) Inspect the rear power window regulator switch assembly RH (See page ).

NG

REPLACE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY RH

OK

3.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (REAR SWITCH RH - REAR MOTOR RH)

(a) Disconnect the O5 switch connector.

(b) Disconnect the O3 motor connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

O5-1 (D) - O3-1

Below 1 Ω

O5-4 (U) - O3-2

Below 1 Ω

O5-1 (D) - Body ground

10 kΩ or higher

INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Remove the rear power window regulator motor assembly RH (See page ).

(b) Inspect the rear power window regulator motor assembly RH (See page ).

REPLACE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY RH

OK

5.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MASTER SWITCH - REAR SWITCH RH)

(a) Disconnect the N2 master switch connector.

(b) Disconnect the O5 switch connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:
