DESCRIPTION This DTC is stored when items controlled by the front power seat switch LH cannot be customized via the navigation system vehicle customization screen. HINT: The front power seat switch LH controls the front power seat control system (w/ Memory) related items that are customizable via the navigation receiver assembly screen.
PROCEDURE
(a) Use the Techstream to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally (See page
OK: CAN communication system DTCs are not output.
(a) Check if the front power seat control system (w/ Memory) is malfunctioning (See page
HINT: Customization may not be possible depending on the malfunction in the front power seat control system (w/ Memory). OK: No malfunctions are present in the front power seat control system (w/ Memory).
(a) Display the "Vehicle Customization" screen. (b) Make a note of the customizable items for front power seat switch LH related system. HINT: These items shown as customizable via the navigation receiver assembly vehicle customization screen can also be changed using the Techstream. In a following step, the Techstream will be used. (1)
Check the customize parameters list for the front power seat control
system (w/ Memory) related items that can be customized via the
navigation receiver assembly screen (See page (c) Manually change and confirm that it was possible to successfully change the settings of the customize parameters for each system that are available for customization via the navigation receiver assembly screen. OK: The items available for customization via the navigation receiver assembly screen can be customized successfully using the manual procedure. Result
