Toyota Tundra Service Manual: Vehicle Speed Sensor (C1A45)

DESCRIPTION

The blind spot monitor sensor receives vehicle speed signals from the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) via CAN communication.

A fail flag is transmitted from the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly).

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

NOTICE:

When checking for DTCs, make sure that the blind spot monitor system is turned on.

PROCEDURE

1.

CHECK DTC (VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM)

(a) Check for vehicle stability control system DTCs (See page ).

OK:

Vehicle stability control system DTCs are not output.

NG

GO TO VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM

OK

2.

CHECK DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs (See page ).

(b) Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again (See page ).
