REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. REMOVE FAN SHROUD

(See page )

2. REMOVE WATER INLET SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH THERMOSTAT

(See page )

3. REMOVE NO. 1 WATER BY-PASS HOSE

(a) Remove the No. 1 water by-pass hose.

4. DISCONNECT NO. 8 WATER BY-PASS HOSE

(a) Disconnect the No. 8 water by-pass hose.

5. DISCONNECT NO. 5 WATER BY-PASS HOSE

(a) Disconnect the No. 5 water by-pass hose.

6. REMOVE WATER INLET HOUSING

(a) Remove the 3 bolts and water inlet housing.

(b) Remove the gasket from the water pump assembly.

7. REMOVE WATER PUMP PULLEY

(a) Using SST, hold the water pump pulley.

(b) Remove the 4 bolts and water pump pulley.

8. REMOVE WATER PUMP ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 8 bolts, water pump assembly and gasket.
