PROCEDURE

1.	CHECK DISC

(a) Check that the disc is not deformed or cracked.

OK:

No deformation or cracks on the disc.

CHANGE DISC

2.	CHECK DISC

(a) Disc cleaning

(1) If dirt is on the disc surface, wipe it clean with a soft cloth from the inside to the outside in a radial direction.

OK:

Malfunction disappears.

NOTICE:

Do not use a conventional record cleaner or antistatic preservative.

END (DISC IS DIRTY)

3.	REPLACE DISC WITH ANOTHER AND RECHECK

(a) Replace the disc with a known good one and check that the malfunction disappears.

OK:

Malfunction disappears.

END (DISC IS DEFECTIVE)

4.	CHECK RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

(a) Check that the radio and display receiver assembly is properly installed

NG (for Column Shift Type)	C
NG (for Floor Shift Type)	C

REPLACE RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

REINSTALL RADIO AND DISPLAY RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
