PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL TRANSPONDER KEY ECU

(a) Hook the upper part of the transponder key ECU, and then hook the lower part to install the transponder key ECU as shown in the illustration.

2. INSTALL AIR CONDITIONING UNIT

3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See page ).

4. REGISTER ENGINE IMMOBILISER SYSTEM

5. CHECK SRS WARNING LIGHT

PROCEDURE

1. PRECAUTION

NOTICE:

After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (See page ).

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:

Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

NOTICE:

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See page ).

3. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING UNIT

4. REMOVE TRANSPONDER KEY ECU

(a) Disconnect the lower part of the transponder key ECU, and then disconnect the upper part to remove the transponder key ECU as shown in the illustration.
