INSTALLATION

CAUTION:

Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the seat frame and adjuster may injure your hands.

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY LH

CAUTION:

  • The nuts must not be reused.
  • Make sure that the front seat back main frame sub-assembly is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.

(a) Install the front seat airbag assembly LH with 2 new nuts.

Torque:

6.0 N·m {61 kgf·cm, 53 in·lbf}

(b) Attach the 2 clamps to the front seatback main frame sub-assembly.

2. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK PAD

3. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

4. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

5. INSTALL FRONT INNER NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

6. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (for Driver Side)

7. INSTALL FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY RH (for Front Passenger Side)

8. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

9. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH

10. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

11. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See page ).
