DESCRIPTION

The combination meter communicates with the ECM via the CAN line.

U0100

When either of following conditions is detected:

Vehicle speed 5 km/h (3 mph) or more and IG voltage 10.5 V or more
No communication with ECM continues for 3 seconds or more (No communication to ECM or skid control ECU continues for 60 seconds or more)

PROCEDURE

1.	CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output (See page ).

(b) Clear the DTC (See page ).

HINT:

If the CAN communication system DTC U0100 and another DTC are output at the same time, perform troubleshooting for the CAN communication system DTC U0100 first.
