PROCEDURE 1. PRECAUTION NOTICE:
2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (a) Remove the front seat headrest assembly. 3. REMOVE INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH (a) Operate the front power seat switch LH (slide switch) to move the seat to the foremost position.
4. REMOVE OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH
5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH
(b) Operate the front power seat switch LH (slide switch) to move the seat to the rearmost position.
(d) Operate the front power seat switch LH (slide switch) to move the seat to the center position and operate the front power seat switch LH (reclining switch) to move the seatback to the upright position. (e) w/ Vertical Adjuster: Operate the front power seat switch LH (vertical switch) to move the seat to the highest position. (f) w/ Leg Support Adjustment Switch: Operate the seat variable cushion switch to move the seat to the foremost position. (g) Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal. CAUTION: Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the battery negative (-) terminal to disable the SRS system. NOTICE: When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable
is reconnected (See page
(i) Disconnect the connector of the front seat wire LH. (j) Disconnect the connector of the front seat airbag assembly LH. Text in Illustration
(1) Place a finger on the slider, slide the slider to release the lock, and then disconnect the front seat side airbag connector. Text in Illustration
(k) Remove the front seat assembly LH from the vehicle. NOTICE: Be careful not to damage the vehicle body. |
