INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL REAR OUTER SEAT LEG BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Install rear outer seat leg bracket sub-assembly RH with the 2 bolts.

Torque:

42 N·m {428 kgf·cm, 31 ft·lbf}

2. INSTALL REAR INNER SEAT LEG BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Install rear inner seat leg bracket sub-assembly RH with the 2 bolts.

Torque:

42 N·m {428 kgf·cm, 31 ft·lbf}

3. INSTALL REAR OUTER SEAT LEG BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Install rear outer seat leg bracket sub-assembly LH with the 2 bolts.

Torque:

42 N·m {428 kgf·cm, 31 ft·lbf}

4. INSTALL REAR INNER SEAT LEG BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Install rear inner seat leg bracket sub-assembly LH with the 3 bolts.

Torque:

42 N·m {428 kgf·cm, 31 ft·lbf}

5. INSTALL REAR FLOOR BOARD RH

(a) Install the rear floor board RH.

6. INSTALL NO. 2 REAR FLOOR BOARD SPACER

(a) Install the No. 2 rear floor board spacer.

7. INSTALL REAR FLOOR BOARD SPACER

(a) Install the rear floor board spacer.

8. INSTALL FRONT FLOOR CARPET ASSEMBLY

(a) Return the front floor carpet assembly to its original position.

(b) Attach the 6 clamps.

(c) Install the tool bag.

9. INSTALL LOWER QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY LH

10. INSTALL LOWER QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY RH

11. INSTALL REAR DOOR WEATHERSTRIP LH

12. INSTALL REAR DOOR WEATHERSTRIP RH

13. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

14. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

15. INSTALL NO. 1 BOX SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (w/ Woofer)

16. CONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Connect the floor anchor of the rear seat outer belt assembly LH with the bolt.

Torque:

42 N·m {428 kgf·cm, 31 ft·lbf}

(b) Check that the rear seat outer belt assembly LH is not twisted.

17. CONNECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY RH

HINT:

Use the same procedure described for the LH side.

18. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 SEAT OUTER LAP BELT ANCHOR COVER

HINT:

Use the same procedure to install the rear No. 1 seat outer lap belt anchor cover on the other side.

(a) Attach the 2 claws and install the rear No. 1 seat outer lap belt anchor cover.

19. INSTALL REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Install the rear seat assembly LH with the 4 bolts.

Torque:

42 N·m {428 kgf·cm, 31 ft·lbf}

NOTICE:

Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

(b) Pull the No. 1 reclining adjuster release handle LH and fold down the seat cushion.

20. INSTALL REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY

(a) Pass the rear seat inner belt assembly through the rubber band of the separate type rear seatback cover in the direction indicated by the arrow shown in the illustration. Text in Illustration *1 Rubber Band *2 Protruding Part

(b) Install the rear seat inner belt assembly with the bolt.

Torque:

42 N·m {428 kgf·cm, 31 ft·lbf}

NOTICE:

Do not allow the anchor of the rear seat inner belt assembly to overlap the protruding part.

21. INSTALL REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Install the rear seat assembly RH with the 4 bolts.

Torque:

42 N·m {428 kgf·cm, 31 ft·lbf}

NOTICE:

Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

(b) Pull the No. 1 reclining adjuster release handle RH and fold down the seat cushion.
