INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT SEAT VARIABLE CUSHION SWITCH

(a) Check the resistance of the seat variable cushion switch. (1) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. Standard Resistance: Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition 2- 5 Front switch on Below 1 Ω 3- 4 1- 5 Neutral 3- 4 1- 5 Rear switch on 2- 3 If the result is not as specified, replace the seat variable cushion switch. CAUTION:

Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.

HINT:

A bolt without a torque specification is shown in the standard bolt chart (See page ).

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL SEAT VARIABLE CUSHION SWITCH

(a) Install the seat variable cushion switch with the 2 screws.

(b) Connect the connector.

2. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

(See page )

2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

3. REMOVE SEAT VARIABLE CUSHION SWITCH

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Remove the 2 screws and seat variable cushion switch.
