INSTALLATION PROCEDURE 1. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR ASSEMBLY
(c) Install the rod of the wiper link to the crank arm, as shown in the illustration. 2. INSTALL FRONT WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY
(b) Connect the connector. 3. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
4. INSTALL FRONT FENDER TO COWL SIDE SEAL LH (a) Attach the claw to install the cowl side seal. 5. INSTALL FRONT FENDER TO COWL SIDE SEAL RH HINT: Use the same procedures described for the LH side. 6. INSTALL HOOD TO COWL TOP SEAL
7. INSTALL FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY LH
(b) Clean the wiper arm serration with a round file or equivalent. (c) Clean the wiper pivot serration with a wire brush.
8. INSTALL FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY RH
(b) Clean the wiper arm serration with a round file or equivalent. (c) Clean the wiper pivot serration with a wire brush.
(e) Operate the front wipers while spraying washer fluid on the windshield glass. Make sure that the front wipers function properly and there is no interference with the vehicle body. |
