Toyota Tundra Service Manual: Installation

(a) Install the wiper motor with the 3 bolts.

Torque:

7.5 N·m {75 kgf·cm, 66 in·lbf}

(b) Apply MP grease to the crank arm pivot of the wiper motor.

(a) Install the wiper motor and link assembly with the 4 bolts and nut.

Torque:

7.0 N·m {71 kgf·cm, 62 in·lbf}

(a) Push the ventilator louver in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to attach 8 claws and 2 clips, and install the ventilator louver.

(a) Attach the 16 claws and install the cowl top seal.

(a) Stop the wiper motor at the automatic stop position.

(d) Install the wiper arm and blade with the nut. Make sure that the wiper arm and blade comes to the position shown in the illustration.

Standard measurement:

Torque:

25 N·m {255 kgf·cm, 18 ft·lbf}

HINT:

Hold down the wiper arm hinge with your hand while tightening the nut.

(a) Stop the wiper motor at the automatic stop position.

(d) Install the wiper arm and blade with the nut. Make sure that the wiper arm and blade comes to the position shown in the illustration.

Standard measurement:

Torque:

25 N·m {255 kgf·cm, 18 ft·lbf}

HINT:

Hold down the wiper arm hinge with your hand while tightening the nut.
