REASSEMBLY

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

HINT:

Perform "Inspection After Repairs" after replacing the fuel pump (See page ).

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL FUEL PUMP

HINT:

Perform "Inspection After Repairs" after replacing the fuel pump (See page ).

(a) Install the fuel pump harness.

(b) Apply a light coat of gasoline to a new O-ring. Then install the O-ring and spacer to the fuel pump.

(c) Attach the 5 claws to the claw holes and install the fuel pump and suction plate with filter.

2. INSTALL SUB TANK

(a) Attach the 2 claws to the claw holes and install the fuel sub tank.

(b) Attach the 3 claws to the claw holes.

(c) Connect the fuel tube.

(d) Install the tube part to the sub tank.

(1) Attach the claw on the end of the tube to the claw hole. Install the tube to the 2 clamps on the fuel sub tank.

(e) Connect the fuel pump connector.
