REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. PRECAUTION

NOTICE:

After turning the ignition switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the battery terminal notice before proceeding with work (See page ).

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:

Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

3. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY

5. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

6. REMOVE FAN AND GENERATOR V BELT

7. DRAIN POWER STEERING FLUID

8. DISCONNECT WIRE HARNESS CLAMP

(a) Disconnect the wire harness clamp.

9. DISCONNECT NO. 1 OIL RESERVOIR TO PUMP HOSE

(a) Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 1 oil reservoir to pump hose.

10. DISCONNECT POWER STEERING OIL PRESSURE SENSOR CONNECTOR

(a) Disconnect the power steering oil pressure sensor connector.

11. DISCONNECT PRESSURE FEED TUBE

(a) Remove the bolt and disconnect the pressure feed tube.

(b) Remove the gasket.

12. REMOVE VANE PUMP ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and vane pump assembly.

    Reassembly

    Vane Pump(for 3ur-fe, 3ur-fbe)
