INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

Tester Connection

Condition

Specified Condition

1 (SSR+) - 2 (SSR-)

20°C (68°F)

65 to 125 Ω

(Magnet Clutch Assembly)

If the resistance is not as specified, replace the cooler compressor assembly.

2. INSPECT MAGNET CLUTCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Confirm that the magnet clutch hub and magnet clutch rotor lock when the battery positive lead is connected to terminal 3 of the magnet clutch, and the negative lead is connected to the ground wire.
