INSTALLATION

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

CAUTION:

Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the seat frame and adjuster may injure your hands.

HINT:

Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY LH

CAUTION:

  • The nuts must not be reused.
  • Make sure that the seat frame assembly is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.

(a) Install the front seat airbag assembly LH with 2 new nuts.

Torque:

6.0 N·m {61 kgf·cm, 53 in·lbf}

(b) Connect the 2 clamps.

2. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK PAD

3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT BACK HEATER ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Heater System)

4. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

5. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK ASSEMBLY

6. INSTALL FRONT INNER NO. 1 SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

7. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH

8. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

9. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTICE:

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (See page ).
